HILLS IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE

It is understood by "hill", a very important
variable relief and the best known is Mount Everest at 8848 meters high. In any
region of the world we find depressions, plains, plateaus and mountains (or
hills).
In Israel, we
find the "Negev Desert (south); lower plains in the coastal region;

The Bible gives us an amazing amount of experiences of
people like us in these fascinating places. Want through this article, compare
the times spent in our lives as Christians, and that we should see them as part

EBAL and GERIZIM HILL
Read chapters 27 and 28 of Deuteronomy.
Situated in the northern part of the West Bank with 3084 feet of

Mount Ebal is one mountain arid and almost no vegetation. Already Mount

Curse.

or perfume, YAH, which means the name of the LORD. The full meaning would be
the essence of the Lord. Another meaning can be Moreh Yah, a little less likely

As was read at the beginning of this issue through the
text of Genesis, this mountain is FAITH IN GOD YOUR PROOF.
God challenges us to give what we have for love of
Him. In Abraham's case, God put to the test the child of promise. Abraham
showed he trusted that God will provide the lamb and no doubt the Lord of
Glory.
And we? We can climb that hill carrying what is most
precious to sacrifice for the sake of God?
MOUNT SINAI

third month after the sons of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on that
very day they came into the wilderness of Sinai. When they set
out from Rephidim, they came to the wilderness of Sinai and camped in the
wilderness; and there Israel camped in front of the mountain. Moses went up

Mount Sinai (also known as Mount Horeb) was not the
Promised Land. It is situated in the south of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.

MOUNT SINAI
It was in this mountain that God has spoken to his
servant Moses and gave him the Law of boards for teaching your people. The
Mount Sinai of Christian is the Holy Bible. When we read it, we are going up
the hill.

NEBUS HILL Is an elevated ridge in Jordan, approximately 817
metres (2,680 ft)above sea level, mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land.
God, by His mercy, sometimes allows us to contemplate
something we can not have now for some reason, one thing is certain: the only
contemplate is already heaven for me.

Elias fought against 450 prophets of Baal. Not a body
battle but a spiritual battle. At all time we are in a battle against the devil
and his angels, either at home or at work, at school or college, on the street
or anywhere else. This means that we are on Mount Carmel.
TEMPTATION HILL

The Bible does not reveal where this lot and does not

Our Gethsemane take place anywhere. We must do as the

This story is in very familiar. It is Noah's Ark.
Account the Bible that Noah and his family were in the
ark for about 190 days. It is a long time to be confined in a closed
environment and caring for dozens or even hundreds of animals. It is very tiring is not it?
Have you ever had a situation that caused you a lot of
fatigue and wear? God have a Ararat for you. Have faith and patience.

Jesus gathered his disciples and a large crowd to
speak of the happiness of those who do His will. It's great to hear the
Master's voice, especially when he speaks of the reward of those who fulfill
his word.

sit down to hear him speak? So you're on the Mount of Beatitudes.
